Quick question

oh dear.

if you have young children you should be a better role model, stupid comments are pathetic.

If you don't have children you should go out and have a social life instead of masturbating in front of a computer screen. I can assure you sex is a lot funnier than masturbating.

Once again I can rely on you being a immature w**k

I don't know for sure, but I think about half the squad is contracted (I assume) until the end of the season.

The remainder are non-contract and signed to the club.

As for what they earn....I suspect you're not going to find anyone willing to disclose that information on here.

Having been around the club for some time, you do form ideas as to what it might be, but it wouldn't be right to speculate.

As I have young children I have obviously had sex.Do you often crack jokes or laugh during sex,I can imagine its quite off putting for your other half to be honest, do you often find yourself single the morning after sex???

At Billericay, on average (roughly) how much are the players on for this season? and also what sort of contracts is it - weekly, non-contract, on matches, etc.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows. Just curious.

This is maybe a question you would need to ask at a game as opposed to on a public forum. This football malarky is a funny old game and ex pro players have been known to play for free just to keep their hand in (no pun intended Henry)

The more supporters we have attending games the more money is in the pot to pay out, standard of players will also shoot up.

Craig & Co have done wonders with the budget available.

When Justin Edinburgh was interviewed on Talksport a few weeks back he mentioned that a Conference South player was rumoured to be on £1500 a week. You can contrast this with Romford in Ryman North, whose players are rumoured to be on "expenses only".

Without a transfer window and players able to move on the 7 day approach rule, the merry-go round will continue at pace, with an extra 50 quid a week often being enough to tempt a move.

Many clubs at this level flirt with finanacial meltdown and when you see certain players at Clubs with very low gates, you have to wonder.

Personally I would rather see our Club at a lower level but on a sound financial footing rather  than overstretching. I sometimes question the quality of football between the various divisions  and what the benefits are in getting promoted.  I know this is not a perfect example but look at our last 3 home league games against Hornchurch

2011/12     0-1  Bumper Bank Holiday Crowd with both going for promotion  - dire game with scrappy winner

2012/13     1-1  Conference South  - early season run off the mill game

2013/14     2-2  Back down - early season but more entertaining than the two previous games combined.

Without a fairy godfather attendances dictate the playing budget and we have been lucky in past seasons to have a regular core attendance but if we can encourage more people to come the club will benefit by being able to strengthen the squad as the season progress's. what is certain is your football club will never become a farnborough and will always work within the financial constraints which the income dictates.

We could do with some match sponsors and ball sponsors this season. If you think you or your firm or a group of you can do something make an offer to Steve even if we get £25 ball sponsor at each game this will generate about £750 and every little helps.

Just to put the record straight, Romford players don't get paid wages or expenses, and most of them play for us because they love our manager, as do all of our supporters who wouldn't swap him for anyone. It is possible to have a relatively successful team without a budget, but its not easy, and probably not to be recommended.

Thanks for the clarification - and reinforces my point. I used to spend many a Saturday afternoon at Brooklands in my youth - now that was a decent Ground !!!  Glad to hear you are getting a permanent home in the near future.

Thanks for your good wishes, and yes, Brooklands was a special place. With regards to the new ground there seems to be a quite confidence the money can be found, and when we return to Havering we can be as successful as Maidstone in attracting decent support.

Good luck to Billericay for the rest of the season.

I have always said it would be good for Romford to return to Romford,no club should really have to play out of their traditional area (yes,I know we play in Upminster before you pipe up Ryan ;) )

I doubt Romford could attract the crowds that Maidstone attract, too much water has passed under the bridge, but if they could get into the Ryman prem then move to a new ground, then there's no reason why they couldn't attract 5-700 fans to start with, just have to keep them.

A real Havering derby could actually turn into one of the biggest in the non league game

Many years ago probably the biggest game in non league football was Romford V Chelmsford, and I would imagine that most of our supporters think it still could be, if we ever play in the same league again.

Think you have to be realistic,Romford v Chelmsford is a derby from 30 plus years ago.

For you to get big crowds you will need to attract younger fans, many who won't be aware of the history of such games, but they may be aware of a club a mile or so away so it would become a big derby if in the same league, the recorder would pump it right up as well,Dont get me wrong,a Big supported Romford side after a few years may well go back to the old rivalries with chelmo due to the support of them but its no coincidence that the two games in the ESL between the two clubs I think attracted around 1500 fans for the two games

It was more like 50 years, not 30. We still talk about the good old days but IMO its better to look forward.
