Smudge
In 4 years of watching CCL Football,I have never seen a more outstanding performance.than what Ed Cornwall put in against Colliers Wood today,5 excellent saves, against a rampant Colliers Wood. The Officials were excellent,Steve Earl in particular, never put a foot wrong all afternoon, even bought me a drink post match.Ed you may remember gave of his time and money.to turn out for the Legendary,Fans Focus XI,abeit he had to leave at half time,v Sheerwater score 1v 1.Highlight of the afternoon,Mr Pusey (Referee) called out Skinner, after a dubious tackle,by the combative RPV Stalwart,no booking ensued, well done Terry.TOP NOTCH. Smudge
Coach,Meaness,Tightness,Wallets, and Freebies are not words that describe my good self,as you well know. However can you tell me how many pints constitute a Yard of Ale,as I was challenged to do this , this coming Saturday after the Raynes Park v Alton Town,F.A Cup Tie.Which I have agreed to do.Dobbo drove a hard bargain during our negotiations. 42 SEATER
Smudge its 2.5 pints and the world record is 5 secs.I think that if you were going for the world record, with Dobbo paying for the beer, you could get a big crowd down there Sat. and instead of the golden goal raffle you could make it the time it takes you to finish it. Big J R
Just for the record, a mate of mine when I was a teenager who died quite young had a defect of the throat and could literally poor liquid into his stomach. He used to get loads of free drink in pubs where he wasn't known with the yard of ale trick. He must have been very near to getting to the world record ! Coach.Probably Dobbo buying the Beer in the first place, would be a World record.
Zippy
Ask Eddo about his recent comments about Messrs. Stroland and Merritt, if you get a moment. The former I agree with, but does Terry Merritt really smell THAT bad?
