I understand Cirencester our cup opponents next game are also a side struggling.Their outstanding player is a forward called Lee Smith who is quite fast and knows where the goal is.

One of two ex-Gloucester players currently there (the other being Will Morford - on his day a good player, but on others he can appear disinterested).

 

Keep them quiet and Slough could do well.  I've seen Cirencester pre-season and they aren't too bad, but have lost a few players from last season as the money isn't fantastic there.  They are getting income from hosting Wootton Bassett Town 'home' games but not sure just how much it is helping their coffers.

 

Very nice people down there though and the academy set-up is impressive.

Dont know where the idea comes from that Cirencester are struggling Theyve won 2 of their 4 games and only lost today to a top team to an 89th minute goal Worryingly they still have next weeks game as a Saturday one according to their fixture list I suppose they have been told ?

I think a few good wins,playing with the shackles off,in terms of supporters expectancy in the league,is just what the doctor ordered.

 

If we can get through a few rounds,it could be the morale boost and a way of galvanising the team,that the current set-up need.
