Fckng stupid challenge,love the kid but he was way too wound up,was actually playing well as well.

New lodger sees it a bit differently from me,I think for the next ten minutes after our sending off we still looked strong but from then after you did push more and at the end of the game finished stronger.

Wierd game as with 11 men but 1-0 up I still thought we would win,the sub you made seemed to make the difference though,strikes early but from then on it only looked a matter of time till we scored and with 11 on the pitch there was only one winner IMO,then it went tits up lol

If you looked at the tally of reds and yellows it would give the wrong impression to an outsider. Apart from 2 minutes of madness, the game was played in a reasonable spirit with both sides wanting to win. Felt the ref was a bit trigger happy with the yellows, as many are at this level.

 

I would like  someone without rose tinted spectacles to explain the melee and if, at any time, did the ref blow for an infringement by either side?

 

Coming to the game, I would have taken a draw but I was pleased to see the improvement and in the end felt a  little disappointed we didn't get the win. With all the changes it's going to take time to gel, but we are moving in the right direction COYB

Billy Lumley is now our regular goal keeper, as I understand it.

 

At the beginning of this thread, I referred to him as a rookie keeper ( based on what someone in the crowd told me)

 

Apparently, he is a much travelled keeper with league experience - so apologies to him. I may have missed it, but it would be nice if the Club Website could give an update on the goalkeeping situation.

I think it would be good if we done some sort of player profiles on the club website with so many new faces it would be good to know a little bit about the current players.

Didn't Billy play for us a while ago? What has happened to our other keeper he seemed OK to me.
