Chase Side Towner
Neil Johnston refused to warm up at half time at Wealdstone so i guess thats why he wasn't brought on. Tell us more NM. Who told you? Any reason given (ill for example?). Very strange if true as he came on against TTFC, so can only think if true there's a good reason for it. Very strange if true as he came on against TTFC, so can only think if true there's a good reason for it. I was standing by the benches during half time and watched it. He was asked repeatedly by the fitness coach to join in and he just stood there. When asked to kick a ball back he blasted it well from anybody (deliberately?). Seemed to be behaving like a petulant schoolboy more than anything else. Obviously all was forgotten and forgiven because he came on on Saturday. Hope it was an isolated incident. Chase Side Towner
Thanks NM, interesting to know but also slightly disturbing. So early in the season and people behaving like spoilt brats. Hopefully the manager has read him the riot act, but judging from his performance when he came on as a sub on Saturday, the manager will have to bollock him again. Completely unprofessional.
