Horley 2 vs 3 South Park

South oak took lead within 20 secs which in hindsight was probably the worse thing that could Happen. Horley came from behind twice to leve the score before dave smith scored the winner.

Poor performance by us but 3 points in the bag and keeps the pressure on epsom.

Horley number 9 (I think) looked a very good player. Keep him they may stay up, but think its going to be a long season for horley

Ash Utd 2 Cove 1

not pretty, but 3pts

Fist half belonged to Cove & took a deserved lead. 2nd half came back into the game & scored 2 goals in the finally ten mins to gain the win.

still learning & got to learn when to play & not to play, however still more positives then negatives

MV 1-3 Westfield

Weren't at our best today but worked really hard and our organisation was key.

All goals coming in last 20 minutes, Jimmy Norman hit an absolute beauty from 25 yards whilst MV goal was a wonderful effort too

Horley Town 2 SouthPark 3

A much better performance by us today. Terrible start going behind after 20 seconds when ex Horley Town player Carl Parker scored. Town hit back with a goal by Ryan Brackpool, (See the goal on Horley Town U Tube)http://www.youtube.com/user/HORLEYFC

always seam to get Wastell letting a goal in from us. Southpark scored goal number two from the penalty spot. Next Ashley Nadaesan scored the best goal of he game beating Wastell at the far post. With the teams all level at half Time Southpark scored goal number three in the second half.

Farnham Town 1 v 0 Badshot Lea

A close fought local derby that lacked quality. Farnham took one of of their only chances whereas we failed to convert all of our possession. Credit to Farnham, who were happy to sit back and defend their one goal lead but we just couldn't break them down. We are very much work in progress after the mass exodus of players over the summer. Onto Friday night and the FA Cup v Hartley Wintney 7.30pm KO

Apparently he did warn Farnham what he was going to be like having been an assistant at Frimley on Saturday! We are very much work in progress after the mass exodus of players over the summer. Onto Friday night and the FA Cup v Hartley Wintney 7.30pm KO

Epsom & Ewell 2-0 Croydon

A fairly comprehensive win, although at 1-0 you are aware that you can get caught and so it was a little tense until we got the second goal. Two great goals they were too, one an individual special from Karl Doughlin who beat three men and the keeper before walking it into the net, and the second a fine frree kick from Reece Jackson.

When considering that we are still shuffling the pack due to work, holidays etc. and I'm sure we're not the only team in that boat, we are finding a way of getting the job done each time. A bit like when we were on our winning run last season. Our 3-0 win at Cove on Saturday was testament to that, as the first half was mostly Epsom but contained some dangerous moments too. We weathered the storm and ended up comfortable winners in the end.

Best three records in League football (top 10 Steps only - i.e. down to Step 6 in non-league) in England so far:

1. Tividale (Midland Alliance) Pld 6 W6 GD +16

2. Epsom & Ewell (CCL) Pld 6 W6 GD +12

3. Maine Road (NW Counties) Pld 6 W6 GD +11

Enjoy it while it lasts!
