26th August v Beaconsfield

Squad for Monday is as follows:

Somerville, Fraser, Harrison, Lake, Rhone, Foulser, Woozley, Couch, W Harris, Burgess, Edwards, McClurg, Short, Dyer, S Harris, Smith.

Darren Wheeler will not be available having taken a heavy knock on his knee against Uxbridge, he will not be fit for Monday after a 90 on Saturday, also we will now be missing the services of Guy Hollis who is away for the next week, however with Foulser and Wooze (plus Wes who can play centre back), and Michael Blount coming back into the squad for the FA Cup next weekend, we have plenty of cover there.

Foulser comes back into the squad, having not risked him yesterday due to a slight groin strain.

Good to see Dominic Rhone included in the squad even if he isn't quite fit enough.Certainly gives us another option on the left side when he is fit.I don't mean that detrimentally to 'Wheels' or 'Lakey' as both are on top of their game but with him back we are well covered on the left with Wooz also able to play there.

With Darren Wheeler being out of Sycob game,it's a shame Dom isn't ready for a full match.

It's ironic that Slough won't be able to field the same side after winning so emphatically at Kettering.Looking at the squad I would start with

Sommerville

Fraser Foulser Woozley Lake

Couch McClurg Edwards W.Harris

Dyer Smith

Ollie Burgess has been playing very well but Aaron Couch needs match fitness, hence why I would start with Couchie and thus resting Ollie, who is the ideal sub to make an impact if needed.

Sommerville

Fraser Harrison Foulser Lake

Burgess McClurg Short Couch

S Harris Dyer

Shame Hollis is missing as we could have done with him and his pace with Yash being up top for them. Also wonder if Warren Harris can play twice in three days with the injury he has.

Absolute rubbish defending, maybe there is still time to get some decent players in before its to late.

When they signed on they were given a wonderful profile, not sure why but they ain't living up to it.

So that is two defeats by average teams and a win against an appalling Kettering, speaks volumes me thinks.

10 or 15 mins spell ripped us to pieces. poor George Short will be horrified to hear how we through the game away in which we were in control of at half time

congrats Older Ram and the 10 or whatever other fans. yet again you have humiliated us and from the 2nd half display there is a pretty decent chance your guys will finish comfortably above us

definitely seem to be a bogey team for us

gotta admit im getting worried that this season could get away from us before its really begun.

2 losses outta 2 at home in games where we have had pretty good control of the match for large spells. 2 sides that didn't have to do much all that impressive to come away with the victory. 2 games where we didn't make it pay when on top in the match. would be easier to accept if it wasn't the same old problems that we faced the last few years.

at a loss at how on earth we ended up just completely losing the plot just because an equaliser came out of the blue.

some truly woeful misses from us also when we were chasing the game.

no point getting too worried this early on but a huge amount of work to do and answers as to how on earth this happened need to be found fast

p,s here's hoping George Short's injury wasn't too bad and he can get back playing quickly. looked to be in quite some pain
