Not sure if someone is supposed to always start these but saw a preview on the Kettering website so just merge into any other started

 

Preview as follows:

 

The Poppies entertain Slough Town at Latimer Park on Saturday 24thAugust in a Calor League Division One Central  match, with a kick-off time at 3pm.

Season tickets are valid for this game and should be presented at the turnstile on entry. Uncollected season tickets can be picked up before the game. Admission pricing for all league games is on the home page of this website.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to avoid parking problems and turnstile queues.

Parking is free but very limited. Supporters are asked to park sensibly on surrounding roads and be aware of parking restrictions.

Catering facilities will be open in the ground on arrival. The the social club bar opens at midday and the turnstiles are scheduled to open at 2pm. The Clubhouse bar is outside the ground.

Klondike tickets are on sale in the ground at £1 a ticket with 50% in prizes announced at half time.

There will now be 200 - 24 page match programmes for sale, and the price has been reduced to £2.00.

Forthcoming fixtures: (Kick-off Saturdays 3pm, Tuesdays 7.45pm- except as stated)

Mark, thanks for creating the match thread, clearly i need to be a bit quicker in setting them up! At the end of the day, doesn't matter who sets them up as long as we have all the discussion in one thread. Moving forwards, we'll get the pre-match drinks included as well :)

 

With regards to the predictions, can you not email them out to all the users or email out yours as you set it? We all know of "Nigel's Jinx" when predicting scores on here :)

Kettering V Slough, brings back some good ole conference memories....

 

Beating them 3-0 on first game of the season (maybe our second season in the conference) was a good day...

I hope your information is correct..... personally I don't believe there will be any easy games this season, and if we come away from Kettering with three points I will be very happy.

From my information, we should be winning this and all other games comfortably at a canter with a minimum of a seven or eight goal margin. Anything less than this or put a foot wrong and well, you're clearly not good enough for my club.
