Willen's high back line was totally exposed by the speedy New Bradwell St Peter strikers, who could have had 12 or 15 if they hadn't been caught offside so many times. Pretty much all New Bradwell's goals were the result of dinked balls through the defence 30 or 40 yards out for a forward to run onto. The home side were outclassed.

Good game, Berko played some good football at times and should have won by a bigger margin really. Ampthill looked a shadow of the team that I saw last season with the number 5 lucky to stay on the pitch after kicking Berko sub addison without the officials seeing it.

 I could'nt make the game today, and haven't spoken to anyone that did go, but not making excuses. The team today was a very depleted team with at least 5 key players missing, i'm sure once we get  all these players back Ampthill will be a force again.  I can feel a run coming on like we had at the back end of last season.

On the other side there were a lot of good performances throughout the team for Berko, we pressed well and deserved the win. Look forward to the return game at Ampthill, was a good result for us there last season.

I don't agree. You didn't press at all but stayed organised and compact and didn't let us play in the middle of the pitch. You definitely deserved the win and although you were the better team on the day it could have been different if Danny Watson (the no 10) hadn't missed the open goal

In the first half. You look stronger than last season but we were without 5 nailed on regular starters so hopefully we can give you a better game at our place
