Probably out of the reach of the club's budget, but perhaps we could do a Vertidrain-type collection? Then do a prize for the fastest speed? £1 to set your fastest time? No idea what the rental cost is, but could find out.

Biggest crowd in the league today, which is probably no surprise given the following Maidstone have been getting so far, but a definite opportunity to kick on to hit Target 1000 for Leiston on September 7. Looked like there were a few "newbies" out enjoying the good weather, and hopefully the good team performance will have left them feeling positive. Just under two weeks to keep spreading the word through posters, word of mouth and general dissemination of the game on Non League Day.

I've had conversations  with the club but my work diary won't permit me as regular attendance as I'd like, plus my missus is a little annoyed at the hours I spend staring at  a computer screen fiddling with videos. Will do what I can, including a post-NLD video showing, touch wood, all the people we've brought in and the good times being had by all. Am also going to put together a montage of the global NLD poster pictures (see the other thread for more) as a final bit of PR ahead of Saturday, which I plan to set to this:

As well as support overseas (http://www.nonleague.co.uk/topic/177847-supporting-non-league-day-at-hartsdown-park-around-the-world/), there's plenty of support for Non League Day taking place in Margate itself.

Wayne Wilson, now Margate's head of football in the community, is backing Target 1000 Day, and the posters are also visible in the information board on the high street, as well as in 25 other information boards around the Thanet area and on the wall in the Information Centre itself on Margate Harbour.
