tomorrow im off on a half day bender to celebrate my 20th year of working at this place.. i think i have actually only put about 7 years of actual work in with 13 years of loafing..

up early saturday to watch the rugby, maybe force a few breakfast beers in.. party saturday night commencing at 5.30!! so ludicrously expensive dangerously large fire works can be let off, then heads down for drinking till the early hours..

get up in time to watch england play wales..during half time get to local, fight hideous dehydration with lager.. meet up with about 12 other various people then drink heavily till 2.30 pm (remembering to switch to shorts at 1 pm to prevent half time ruck in toilets) then taxis to roots hall to watch the game.. back to local for more beer, back to mine for more beer bed at some stage then up at 5.20 am for work.. perfect..

Well, I had a brilliant weekend. I went clubbing for most of the weekend, first in the student union and then on Saturday we went into Newcastle-Under-Lyme. They've got really good clubs up there, there's only a few but they're much better than the Adelaide!Had loads of new drinks I'd not tried before.Had a shot called 'Creamy Monkey Slammer' which was lovely but can only remember one ingridient and that was Dooleys. Also had a killer cocktail called 'Polish Bullet' which blew my head off. AND I had a Snakebite with Vodka which I hadn't had in ages and it was luverly!Also tried a 'Turbo shandy' I think it's called which is beer, cider and Smirnoff Ice. Nice!

 

Worst bit of the weekend, apart from the new Matrix film, was being woken at 3.30am,half an hour after going to bed, by a fire alarm and people knocking on my door and telling me to get up and out. I was half-naked at the time and so had to put some clothes on first and then we all had to stand outside for about half an hour while the fire engines checked the Halls.Turns out some girl was smoking weed in her room and had set the fire alarms off and she's getting a 100quid fine. Bloody students!
