We are talking about one game, in which we were missing three of our four strikers. Am I the only one willing to give these boys more than 90 minutes before being too critical? Let's see what happens tomorrow evening.

Matt, there are lot's of people willing to give the players more than just the first game before being too critical, they just don't come on here and say so, for lots of various reasons

Can we move on now please we have a game tonight and I think it would be more beneficial to our players to hear some encouragement and positivity.  

 

As a player said last year this is a marathon not a sprint !  ( I think that's what he said anyway)

Really do hope the players step up and justify the backing that Jon and Neil are giving to them on here. We have had a coupe of occasions where the bosses have come away from a game feeling disappointed and think the players owe the managers and think we will see that tonight.

 

Not the start, or performance, we wanted to open up the season with, but its just one game and we will (can only?) get better. I have every faith in the managers to get it sorted out and will give them my full backing for as long as they are with the club.

Hotspur you must be the best non-support supporter a club has ever had! I know you love to re-live the good old days but perhaps you need to move on and be realistic of the level we now play at? Would it be possible for just one match to find the positives, you never know you might just enjoy it!

Actually real supporters like me and my family and our ancestors want nothing less than promotion.A higher league attracts better players and more supporters through the gates.So can create an upward spiral of success.Yes I realise it may take time-but you cannot keep saying that-eventually if it don't work try something else as soon as poss.
