Lots and huff and puff today without threatening their goal that often I thought.

That said we had 60 odd goals missing today with no Ed Smith, Scott Harris (why was that?) and Jonnie Dyer. I think with one of them today we would have created more and possibly won the match.

Found it quite strange Smith was on the bench, but not used. Rhone was here today and is a good attacking threat, so a bit surprised he was not given Ed's place if he could not play.

Onto Tuesday though. Kettering & Dunstable also lost and plenty of games still to play COYR!!

I will come on in full tomorrow to let you know our true feelings, but probably best not to vent tonight...

Only thing I would let you know now is Eddie got through a fitness test, and we were hopeful he would be ok to come on, but he broke down in the warm up, and at which point we could not change it.

We had a bit of a nightmare yesterday as we were informed that Scott Harris will not be available until Beaconsfield due to personal reasons, and with Johnnie also missing left us very light up top.

Anyway huge apologies and will be on tomorrow with my views.

Felt sorry for the players and managers today. You put all that hard work into pre-season and then three strikers are unavailable and you end up starting with a centre half and new signing up top and at times is showed. Thought Osobu had flashes of potential and finished the offside goal very nicely.

Thought the game was likely to fizzle out into a nil nil as they couldn't take their chances and we seemed to be struggling to break them down.

Good thing is the games come thick and fast and we can put it behind us Tuesday. COYR

Obviously every player, management and fan is disappointed with today's performance and result but we can't and shouldn't get down after 1 game. The players have the perfect opportunity to erase this game from everyone's memory with a scintillating display on Tuesday!
