Johnny Flynn HBFC

Recommended Posts

It is with real sadness that the Club announce the death of it's gateman Johnny Flynn who died yesterday at the North Middlesex Hospital after a brief illness.

Although we have left the Spartan South Midlands League I know there are many on this forum who will remember Johnny who always seemed rooted to the spot at the entrance  gate even after kick off trying his best to help the Club. He also attended many away games , often making his own way there by public transport to support his beloved Haringey Borough.

Lovely man who will be sorely missed.

RIP Johnny

Really sad to hear this - I met Johnny a few times, lovely man who loved his club.

Condolences to all at Haringey Borough and may he rest in peace.

Very sad news.

Always had time for Johnny and I would stop and have a chat with him at the entrance gate whenever I visited Coles Park.

A top bloke who would do anything for his beloved Haringey Borough.

He will be sorely missed within the non-league fraternity.

RIP

This is sad newes i always chatted to Johnny at Haringey Borough v Hanwell Town games you will do well to find a better gateman. Remember him kindly giving me some old Haringey Borough FC programes at the Haringey Borough v Hanwell Town game in January 2012 when we lost 4 1.
