Karen or anyone who can answer

I see not all teams in the prem (2teams) and in div 1 (4 teams) don't have fixtures this midweek is there any reasons behind this? It only caught my eye when I saw baldock are playing a friendly at Barton Tuesday night

Many thanks in advance

All fixtures were done by computer in sets (42 sets of 11 for Premier) and (38 sets of 10 for Division One) - each set was then allocated a date. I then created two extra sets for the local games at Christmas/Easter (removing these games from their original sets)

The missing fixtures from this block were as follows:

Premier

Leverstock Green v Hoddesdon Town - Leverstock Green are not allowed midweek home fixtures in August as part of their floodlight planning regulations and of course game cannot be switched due to Hoddesdon Town and their cricketing problems.

Division One

Amersham Town v Baldock Town - Moved to a Saturday date because I have tried to limit any midweek league travelling to 40/45 minutes (obviously in cup-ties that are normally played in midweek then its down to the luck of the draw).

Southall v Kentish Town - this was moved to the set of Christmas/Easter fixtures.

As I said each club was allocated a number, the numbers obviously having factors involved like two clubs ground sharing having to have paired numbers so neither would be at home same day, other clubs had requested being paired with nearest rivals, after all these and other factors I got the computer to issue blocks of fixtures to which each block was given a date.

Maybe in time I will invest in a super super super computer that will take every consideration into effect in the meantime I live in hope that all cricket is banished along with ground sharing and all clubs must have floodlights to be able to play on whatever date given.

Karen - Did you purposely give Club's either two home games or two away games to begin the campaign with

Fantastic result for us at Cockfosters tonight. They equalised in the 92nd minute and we won it with a great strike in the 94th minute. Deserved a win for the way we nullified and looked good on the attack. Great game to play in

Did you play the full 90? Any info on where Tom Alabaster is these days? I heard he wasn't playing against Jets tonight from my oxhey source.

Played the full 90 minutes indeed, good to get the first league start in having missed out Saturday. Great team spirit and good to see us working so hard as a group. With regard to Tom Alabaster, I haven't got a clue, I rarely speak to anyone from Holmer anymore, just my mate who's still there. Although I briefly spoke with Dean Allen when we played Aylesbury in a friendly

I wrote a midweek round up at silly o'clock this morning - if there are any glaring errors let me know & I'll get them changed !

So much easier to do these things with Twitter & up to date websites. Although I see someone at Kings Langley was being fed false info last night for their updates.
