I have fed back to the SSML on this subject. Looked like a building site, the other team subs wore orange bibs too. Don't Stotfold and London Tigers wear Orange shirts?

As if the ref and his assistants haven't got enough to sort out they now have to make sure we are dressed correctly!

We got x large sizes sent but some clubs have clearly been sent tight fit! lol

Can I ask if the bibs are a league rule? Is there a punishment for not wearing them or are the league just asking clubs to enter into the spirit?

 

I personally think they are a joke and will have zero effect on the respect campaign. When the red mist descends , nobody is gonna look down at their bib and have a change of heart!

 

And yes I'll be honest, the portly coaches amongst us are less than impressed!!

I couldn't agree more with the red mist statement, however I believe its due to a few incidents of people sitting on the bench, getting themselves in a spot of bother and then disappearing over the barrier and pleading they have nothing to do with the club. Certainly happened in a game I was at last year!

Sorry to be a pain but any chance you could find out if its a punishable offence?? I think if clubs are gonna face action, they should be aware of the facts and all I've seen is a letter stating clubs are being asked to wear them. Nothing I've seen says its a league rule.

                Failure to apply with commercial agreement £20 - £200 or

                Failure to use bench kit £50 - £100

Cannot see anything in Competition Rules about any fine.
