BlueBoydie
One game down and a win in the bag, so as good a start as we'd hope for. Maybe a hat-trick for Matt Bodkin? I was a little saddened to see that Thamesmead Town seemed to have less than 100 people through the turnstiles, despite it being the club's debut game in the Ryman Premier League. Conversely, the 2,000-plus people at Maidstone United was a great crowd, but mostly expected. Thamesmead Town are playing at home on September 7, which is Non-League Day 2013, so hopefully they'll be able to get some big support. Maidstone are at Hampton so sure they'll benefit from that. Margate have got Leiston visiting Hartsdown Park that day, so a good chance to further the team's connection with the town and bring in a big crowd. I'm sure Paul's on the case already, but does the forum have any ideas for drawing in a crowd. Is a target of 1,000-plus too ambitious?
