Don't usually post here about my site these days but for anybody who remembers it (!) and isn't privy to Facebook updates etc I can tell you it's busy thriving and I've just added a few nice photos. Been a lot of updates over the past few months if you haven't looked in recently.

We didn't have that where we lived BUT bet it gave you a picture unlike in Thanet on Freeview where BBC just disappears and on some days they all go somewhere into the ether leavingus with nothing and a retune often only finds about 10 channels.   Apparently due to low power from the Dover transmitter so as not to upset the French or atmospherics that we somehow didn't suffer from before !

That's why rediffusion was born, the clicky box was still in place when we moved in1987 and we are still joined to the detached property next door by the cable. Evidently the signal is turned up in the winter and the French one turned down. Channel 5 was not transmitted here for the same reason I believe.

Why its not been sorted is beyond me with the tech available, still who cares about us outside Thanet, answers on a postcard to Horace Batchelor PO box 9

Keynsham Bristol ! Only available on transistor radio.
