Neil Baker
As previously mentioned Wazza has been playing with a groin injury most of pre season, and as of yet you will not have seen the best of him, as when fit and on form he can easily be playing a higher level. Anyway tonight it has been confirmed that he has a double Gilmores Groin and will need an operation, which is a big blow to us, what makes it worse is he does not have private health care so will have to be done on the NHS, which could take a long time. He should still be able to play for us up until any operation he has, although he will be playing well below 100%, though the type of player he is will still be a key player. We are currently looking into the options of paying for a private operation, and the lads may look to run a fundraiser to try and get him back fully fit ASAP. Just thought I would keep you in the loop, as I know he is conscious that you have not seen the best from him yet.
Hammer_rebel
The lads could do a zumbathon in tights and a tutu I'm sure people will pay to watch that! Any help you need just ask
readingrebel
I'll certainly help in any way I can. Perhaps we can all rally round with the help of MyFC as well to get Warren's OP done.

Irishadrian
Tell him to avoid the compression shorts (£20-40) This item is about £100 but has brilliant write-ups.

Hammer_rebel
What might be a good idea to raise money is speaking to mark betts about a five aside day at farnham park where we charge teams to enter. I'm sure there's plenty of us that can publicise it?
Neil Baker
Just so you know, the benefit of having MYFC on board is already evident, as thanks to Adrian finding those shorts, I have checked different reviews, and something like this could really help Warren out short term. The cost is £100 however they have had 10 pledges of £10 each (including myself) to pay for these, and I have now ordered them, and expect them with me tomorrow. I know that the MYFC has had bad press etc, but it just goes to show what can be done with a large network, and if us and they work together it could be a really good relationship. I know they are planning on getting a load of members over for the first game of the season, would be great if we can break 3-400.
Don Juan DeMarcus
Adrian has nothing to do with myfc as far as I'm aware. Great news and hope they help.
Neil Baker
Nope he does not, but he looked up these shorts last night, which I did not know existed...

Stuntman Mark
Those shorts looks like something you'd see at an s&m club!
Don Juan DeMarcus
Agreed not the prettiest thing. But if they do the job... Bloody clever....wish I'd had a pair in my last two years... Wearing two pairs of cycling shorts to keep my groin in one piece was not overly comfortable..

BucksRebel
Thanks and well done to MyFC members for their kind donations for Warrens S&M groin shorts. It was a pleasure to help, don't envy him wearing them though, they looked a bit "restrictive" ,I guess that's the whole idea!. Thanks to Neil as well for highlighting the help we gave, we were asking on the forum if there was anything the team needed at the moment and he came back with the issue with Warren, the op may take a bit more looking into but at least in the short(s) term he can get on with playing. Rother
Ooooo. The slippery sloap starts right here. New pair of shorts this week, next they'll be saying they want to see him play (it's only fair after all).... you know where this is going right?
