The only guarantee in football is that there are no guarantees !

 

I'd like to think Windsor will be there or thereabouts and if we could put out our strongest XI each and every game we would be strong contenders but football has a habit of not following predictions and if we were to go top early based on good performances then I'm sure the bigger local clubs would be looking to entice a few of our players away.  If Epsom, Cove, South Park and Molesey have strengthened their squads then they'll all be up there but I'll save my real predicitions until about 10 games in.

Nice to see Knaphill getting a few votes.

At the end of the day though, we have a virtually brand new team so are just going to play our own football and see what the season brings.

But over a season you need 16-20 players who can make up the squad and I don't know if our squad is that deep....yet. It should be a really good season as there are quite a few teams who will fancy a shot at the title, and quite rightly so.}

Don't think I've said much different to your good self in reality.

 

Simply that if we were able to keep the squad together there was very good reason for confidence.

Strange thing is Camberley get tipped up every year by some,unfortunately where they are situated, they will never win the League.They have too many other CCL Clubs vying for the same Players.

Think with Webby becoming more involved down Cambo he's brought down some new faces including a couple from Lammas. Heard the Badshot lea boys went back there too. Could be wrong.

Well the Surrey Heath & Rushmoor merry-go-round has been in full swing! I think the Baggy boys have been well scattered, although i've seen Prentice on the Cambo scoresheet not sure if one or two more have gone down there as well.

 

Interesting to see how Badshot Lea get on this year, what with a new young management team and a fair change of personnel on the pitch. Pre-season seems to have gone OK.

 

What's going on at Sandhurst - lost 8-0 at Binfield the other night and didn't they get 12 put past them by Slough the other day too? A very long season ahead by the sound of it.

i know of hoppit, kerr, smith all going back possibly with a couple more from baggy lea , unfortunately we lost azagba to them an greenwood from lammas has gone there to.

when cambo were a top 6 side i think all these players barring the latter two were there azagba for us is a big loss !
