Smudge
I have never been a lover of County F.A.s,in my mind they are just Cash grabbing institutions.Very quick to progress Cautions, that have to be replied to and paid within a very short time, and if you do not,you incur a further fine. However if you wish to Challenge a decision made by them you wait Weeks for NO written reply, they never contact you,you always have to contact them,by phone or even do as I did pay them a personal visit. You are given the excuse that they are too busy, doing affiliations,Holidays.etc.If the documentation sent to me by the London F.A.that had been altered by the same person, not by the original 2 Assistant Referees who made statements,in which they could not even get the right Team that the Player played for hence the alterations made by a third party unbe known to them.Imagine my amazement when I was informed by the London F.A. had been contacted by our very own Combined Counties League Secretary,Mr. Alan Constable, regarding a previous posting on this site, what a cosy little world we live in.Still waiting for a written reply, but how long is a piece of string. Smudge
Finally a letter from the London F.A Chief Executive D.G.Fowkes. Quote:- Suspensions issued to ALL players throughout the Country are not subject to appeal or personal hearing. In other words they are God,this cannot be right surely. However if you are a Manager/Coach the process could take upwards of 3 Months and still not reach a conclusion. However they have a right of Appeal, why should that be? HKP
Isn't this the rules as per the FA's, possibly wrong to blame the County FA's...
mal316
As per page 15 of http://en.calameo.com/read/001230235f97a35519de0 you can appeal against wrongful dismissal or mistaken identity. If the offence is S6 (using offensive language and/or insulting and/or abusive language and/or gestures) or S7 (receiving a second caution in the same match) this is not within the criteria for a claim. What was the offence for which the suspension was given?
Smudge
Mal,the 2 Assistants in their reports could not even get the right Club that the Player played for right, this was altered by the same 3rd Party UNKNOWN.Yet in their statements they both said they checked the Team Sheets post match to obtain the Players name, hardly reliable evidence.Likewise the Referee inferred that a Red Card was shown, which it was not, because if it had been,he also would not of had to check the Team sheet as he states,to get the Players name.If a Red Card had been shown by him to the Player, surely he would of asked the Player for his name. The most annoying thing is that the Club Secretary singed a London F.A document, stating that she had informed the Player of the charges and Suspension/Fine,which she never did,and never had any intention of doing so.Therefore by doing so,any chance of defending/Appealing the charge was time expired by F.A Rules, whether you intended to or not.Hardly fair in my opinion, when the Manager of the Club has not so far been dealt with by the London F.A,3 Months after the alledged Offence. HKP
If a Red Card had been shown by him to the Player, surely he would of asked the Player for his name. No, I the whole point of a teamsheet is that the referee does not need to ask the player for his name, in his little black book he will just have the players shirt numbers and then mark against that if a player is show a yellow or a red card. Helps in a situation previously when a referee asks for a name only to be told by the player that his name is Mickey Mouse and also helps to speed the process up on the field.
