Saturday 2.00pm kick off

= sees Town take on Beveren from Belgium in the Supporters ( European ) Cup - Town are current holders.

Beveren are bringing a few hundred supporters so all Town fans ( and the Ultra's ) need to get there in numbers to support The Town.

Don't forget - it is a 2.00pm kick off,

They should have made this a 2 legged cup tie, would have been a nice European away trip! Maybe next year we can play a friendly their?!?!

If you mean there it's a good idea.

What a GREAT Day at Enfield Town today.

Fantastic support from both sets of supporters.

Beveren Supporters deserve a special mention as they really added to the atmosphere.

Town retained the Cup, but the occasion was the real winner today.

Well done to all.

Beverens were poor and I think they would struggle in the Essex Senior. What was good was the way Town were up for it right from the start. They may have realised early on that the Flems were pushed for pace but, even to the end, they wanted to keep on scoring. Hit the bar, was it three or four times, it could so easily be 10-14 to 2.

Those two goals do demonstrate that we need Chris Wild and, perhaps, our full backs need to concentrate more.

here is a couple of coments put on there forum

Result was incidental in fact, very clever how we still make two goals. Still some good action seen in the first half.
But with such an adversary can compare little. They play a few levels higher.

Very nice trip! With great reception

The atmosphere was fantastic. Both on the bus, before the match, during the match and after the match. Thanks everyone!

8-2 is a grassroots rash. A few great action seen from our players, but Enfield Town was a few classes too strong as expected and factored.
Let the men play against a Belgian third-or fourth
