Yep Aaron got through a 90 last night, Dan picked up a knock in training on Saturday, and is unlikely to be fit today, obviously Dom is still working his way back to fitness, and he is further back than he was hoping at this stage, and I had a good conversation with him last night, about us getting him some games when he is fit, as will be difficult to bed him back in the last few friendlies as we will be stepping it up for what we want to start the season with.

But I still think he may be a couple of weeks away.

Logie picked up a calf strain by the looks of it last night also.

Other than that both Harris brothers have slight concerns, Warren has what we believe a hernia, and has had since mid way through last season, he has had a scan and is awaiting the consultants report.

It will not stop him playing, but we may have to be aware of how many minutes etc he plays, as does cause him some discomfort, and probably puts him at 80% instead of 100%.

Hatchett has a slight heal injury, he will miss tonight and possibly Saturday, but hopefully will be fine for Chipstead game.

Obviously with the rock hard grounds, we are noticing a bit more impact injury than in the past few years, but I think that is to be expected, as they have to work very hard pre season.

Downer on injuries of course but what a refreshing post by one of our joint manager's.If Steve Bateman had been up front with reports such as this,we the supporters wouldn't be on the back of some of the players[and manager],as much as some of us[myself included]were/are.

Don't expect too much sucking up Neil,I can only do it for so long !!! ha ha ha!

Yup, must agree not good tonight and totally outplayed.

For as we'll as we played at Binfield and Holyport we took a massive step-up in class and played a very good side tonight (that IMO will go close to going up) in the league above, but I don't think we had a real shot in anger all night and conceded some very sloppy goals.

A lot to work on, but were not going to face quality like Wealdstone have week-in week-out in our league, but still a little worrying.

They have quite a big squad and will have some quality players not in their stating eleven maybe they could send a player or two our way!

Not going to read too much into tonight's game as I thought Wealdstone were a very good outfit and showed us the way to score goals and play football. I would say that we do lack a creative centre midfielder in the mould of Paul Coyne or Adam Martin. We need someone to support the strikers and make runs through the middle not just out wide. Still early days though and im very confident that our manager's will get it right. COYR!

Can only agree with the above, completely outplayed.

Very concerned by the number of times we gave the ball away in midfield and then got carved up at will by a good Wealdstone side, who knows what the scoreline would've been if they could stay onside.

Again, it's only a friendly but the lack of chances created over two games and the way we seemed to let the ball go too easily could be a concern for the managers and players.

Still time for it to work out though, so no panic yet.

Over the last two days we have played two very good teams. One who are two leagues above with players that have been playing professionally over the last couple of years. (A lot of ex conf/l2 I believe)

The other a team who have been up at the top end of the Ryman prem the last couple of years and a very good side.

It would be interesting to know, and this is a question for the managers, I know we are culling the squad now but is there any opportunity to get one or two in when they become available. I presume clubs in conf/conf south would also be cullingm and so others become available.

I know a midfielder has been mentioned above as a need?

Hi everyone, one thing you will work out with me and Jon, is we will come on here if we win and in defeat.

Let me tell you one thing, tonight was unacceptable by our standards, no excuses about playing 2 games in 2 days, injuries etc... we were just not on it probably from about the 10th minute, and we got took apart by a very decent side, however the types of players we have with us, we never accept a result like that.

We made mistakes when we were under no pressure, and we gave in to them on the night.

There were not too many positives, however like we did not go over board on the wins, we will not go over board on the defeats.

We know we have a good squad together, however tonight did not prove that.

We will have to go again on Saturday at Biggleswade, which will prove to be even harder with a few knocks we picked up.

I apologise to anyone that made the journey tonight, it was not pretty, and not something we expect from one of our teams.

The only positive is it has happened now in pre season, and we have not lost 3 points.
