The margate way??

I am a firm believer of watching what other clubs do and copying them, after all, that's how pretty much all clubs are run,yes we all get ideas but usually they are replicated by others

1/ margate put all news on their website first,we probably do the same but what they then do us post the same title on their forum with a link to the website ,should we not think about doing this as well to make sure the website gets maximum use??

I did used to be against it as I believed the hardcore supporters used the forum much more, and still do,but I guess it's not just about the hardcore,is it???

2/ they have some sort of lottery,I can get the details of how they run it from their CEO (I hope)

I think most premier league clubs do this now.I believe it sort of runs itself and is more of a community thing rather than just limited to the fans, would certainly raise our profile locally?????

I would suspect most news will go up on the website first, as it should do. There's not been much stuff (beyond speculation) that has appeared on here first for instance (that I'm aware of). Once on the website most articles are then on Facebook and Twitter within a matter of minutes.

People's mindset should be to look at the website anyway for latest news .. not here. Plus, you really don't want there to be any implied association between an official club website and an unoffiical forum.
