Season's Fixtures

Recommended Posts

Pete,

This issue caused problems last season but I raised the question to my local County FA this week (as we have a player with an outstanding one match ban) and above is the response I got back yesterday. Apologies for my negative response elsewhere.

But of course this season all bans come into effect 14 days after the sending off.

Karen - The 14 day rule is something that I have been trying for months to get confirmation on.

Cup competitions and qualify matches has always been a bit of a grey area so Clubs should always check with their County FA's first.

Have you ever considered a career in Governance?

Not sure why but both Codicote and Wodson Park have no fixture this Sat? Gosling is free so no ground issue. Can't these teams be made to play.

Our first team have no fixture this Saturday. Anyone with a ground available interested in a friendly? Email CRAWFORDSPUR@AOL.COM

She could and you could become the next Pope.

Haven't you heard the saying 'if it ain't broke don't fix it', we were perfectly fine with monthly fixtures

I believe it was the majority of the clubs that wanted full fixtures. However one thing that is different this season it that the various County FA's no longer issue full competition draws and have adopted to issue them round by round

Karen-

You're doing a very very hard job to the best f your ability. I commend you for taking on such a role, where the word 'thanks' I imagine is a scarcity.

Keep up what you're doing! And for those moaning: WHY DONT YOU DO IT?

Oh also- thank god Lee Bearman isn't on here anymore, I bet he'd be rabbiting on about it non stop!!!

Personally i think the league fixtures are a shambles. Our Reserves are on a run where 8 of out next 9 games are at home.

They have had jut s2 league games since the 21st September and our concerns to the league have been ignored.

We are going to end up with lots of midweek games and as the Ressies are largely youth players that is going to cause us problems

We are now having to consider alternative arrangements next season.
