Season's Fixtures

Recommended Posts

Full SSML fixtures for all five divisions will be released at 10.00 am Saturday morning.

All clubs have received free dates for the first two rounds of their respective County Cup competitions (this due to some Counties not issuing their competition draws until August).

Looking at our fixtures they seem a lop sided. We have 11 home fixtures in the first 3 months of the season and 10 in the last 6 months.

Two midweek games for August have been rearranged for December and January due to planning conditions on our floodlights. Well done Karen. Makes the fixtures for Levy balanced now.

Karen - Do you have the answers to the following.

I have been told that appointments for L4 Referees (Prem Div) will now appear on MOAS.

As you are using mitoo and not Full-Time, who enters the fixtures onto MOAS? (I've looked and they are already there for 10 August.)

Will you be using Full Time in the future where fixtures will automatically appear on MOAS assuming the WGS is ever up and running?

Following numerous concerns about fixtures I am currently in the process of re-writing them, trying to ensure clubs don't get blocks of four/five games either at home or away. The Premier Division is now done and I am a third of the way through Division One. Hopefully full Division One fixtures should be back this evening.

Karen - You could quite easily manipulate the fixtures couldn't you to suit Club's you like and are 'well in' with

Rhodes, Wind you neck in.

organising the fixtures is not an easy job. some people will be happy so will not. Its all part of football. Look at all the premier league managers that moan about fixtures.

It makes a nice change to have all the fixtures at the start of the season although some will change due to cup, weather etc.

I hardly think living in darkest Yorkshire I am 'well-in' as you put it.

I have tried to accommodate all club requests, local games at Christmas, looked at trying to keep midweek away league game journeys to under 45 minutes, ensuring that those clubs who asked to avoid playing at home on the same day as their near neighbours (ie Berkhamsted and Tring).

However I would bow to your great wisdom Mr Rhodes should you have anything constructive to say.
