Someone will be devastated!!

If we sign up Cox or Peyer I dont believe he will be missed too much, on the pitch at least.

;)

I am sad he's gone as he is a nice guy and a good player but you lot will be able to take the p*** out of me and the poor blighter who gets my patronage next!

strangely we missed a "good" defender in the second half.... should have put the game to bed in the first half at least 5 missed chances.  Second half too many changes to the team made for an extremely shakey display on our part and the ref was a typical sunday league wannabe, gave two ridculous pens and the left sided linesman was giving tips to their number 5 for christ sake.  Not worth the £8 but a good training session for the lads.

not that it matters-but both were definite penalties--first marginally harsh as arm could not really get out of way of ball-and it did come about after vines was pushed to give away the corner-penalty -yes-harsh yes.2nd was a very clear push by Peye (I think )r-and a penalty-albeit have seen plenty not given in similar circumstances.

agree with the comment re: defence

good to see strength in central midfield though

First time run out for me-say may well be wrong-but is the official site/report correct about whitely starting as a striker in first half-I thought he came on in midfield after 65 mins.

Walsh -not there-agree.

Performance does not really matter-bossed the game for first 35 mins and then it became very even for rest of match-arguably whitstabbuble the better side in second half.

a good exercise though as DR suggests.

First thoughts are that the team will score ok and that assuming the likes of avery/whitely/l'anson-for midfield- are signed; that there will have a decent midfield ( an area of CK continual neglect )

I'm not so sure about defence though-whoever plays is signed-i'm not sure it will match up on paper, to a defence of starkey, beales, ball, pooley.

However, games aren't played on paper' so hopefully-whatever the defensive line up next season, it will match last seasons-albeit it would be where my 'concern' currently is.

Hopefully-welling will test the defence properly

should walsh when fit be playing in defence -not attack ?

that given-in second half of last season, the defence did make more than its fair share of silly mistakes so who can tell.

overall-we all want perfection, but depending on who is signed=looks like it will be an ok season

The latter ;)I was right by it and he meant it as saw sub keeper off his line (not Lamprell as the official site says).
