obis
Just feel that the season ticket seems high at the moment with monies tight. Any idea how much it was last season and what was the numbers sold? What about offering an affordable half season ticket. I believe season ticket holders are likely to spend more at games as they haven't had to pay at the gate. Thoughts? andydick
The standard season tickets are better value this season than last (not checked concessions/12-16). If we just consider league games then ... In 2012/13, if you'd gone to 18 home games then the season ticket was better value than paying at the gate each time. Essentially you'd get 3 free if you went to all 21. Season ticket price £190, matchday admission £11. For 2013/14, you'd also need to go to 18 home games for the season ticket to be better but as there's 23 home games you could get 5 free if you went to all of them. Season ticket price £175, matchday admission £10. Half season tickets are a decent idea .. but they are more difficult to manage since you've got to factor in match postponents etc. Second half season tickets are a better option as you'll know how many games are to be played from a certain date and can charge accordingly. Dagger03
The prices for adults are reasonable when compared to other clubs, though above average for concessions - WEALDSTONE £210 / £105 (adults / concessions) BILLERICAY - £200 / £137 HORNCHURCH £175 / £120 CANVEY £150 / £80 EAST THURROCK £160 / £70 ENFIELD TOWN £160 / 80 THURROCK £160 / 380 ROMFORD (Div 1 N) - £160 / £85 The following clubs have no information on their web pages - Cray / Concord / Lowestoft / Wingate / Maidstone / Grays / Aveley There are 23 home league matches (plus nine reserve matches) so you get five first team league matches free if you buy a season ticket. Just as comparison - Dagenham & Redbridge charge £400 for seating and £335 for terraces. Half season tickets was suggested last season, but was considered to be unworkable as it would be difficult in the event of postponements.
obis
The half season tickets would simply cover the first say 12 games. (Postponed games not incl.) Or could be first 5 or 6 to get them hooked. Just a thought.
Eastside Urchin
I believe our club looks at other clubs season ticket costs and price accordingly.Compared to most I believe we come out quite well. The problem is,it's not the clubs who are dictating the prices, they would be stupid to undercut others by too much but it's the authorities who are pricing fans away. They set the ticket costs as far as I am aware.Because the premier league is high,it filters down and to watch Ryman prem football in this country costs about the same to watch some European top league clubs
Serious Sid
Season Tickets have been printed and will be presented to Colin tomorrow evening as mentioned above. As a 'Brucie Bonus' I have made three dozen laminated fixture cards which will be given to the first 36 Season Ticket purchasers. Not much of an incentive but they are free! I was told the ST would cover all RPL and County Cup games only. Reserve fixtures were not mentioned. It may be that the Club will confirm reserve games are included but this is not shown on the Season Ticket. Cheers John
