Although still having problems getting the Twitter feed to work on the site, there will be live updates from the game at Hythe at http://www.margate-fc.com/content/1st_team/fixtures_results/match_detailsnew.php?all_games_id=3971

The Twitter feed will show up on and off on there but you can also follow it at https://twitter.com/margate_fc

only a friendly ,and results meaningless as football in the sun is completely different to the competitive stuff; but regardless, Hythe are a decent side from the little I know , so I would say this is all very promising so far .

Just need to get some of these players under contract now before they high tail it elsewhere.

Of the trialists who impressed ?

Good, solid performance. Ademeno bossed things yet again & is a must sign IMO, as is Whitely.

Good to see Murphy looking confident also. Impressed with the movement & when we kept the ball on the deck, quality to watch. Hythe were a tidy side but ran out of steam, & a bit niggly.

Lastly just want to say thanks to Alan for the lift today, really appreciated & was a pleasure to meet you.

It usually takes at least 2 seasons to prepare/build a side-hence unlikely dover will do so well this season, and the same at Margate.

continuity is so important.

2014/15  probably' the year' for both clubs.

Unfortunately some supporters and indeed directors don't have the patience

The only point i'd make surely over at Crabble they had a descent team, after all they made it to the play offs, do you/should you tinker with a team that much.
