I've been away for a couple of days and when I return I see that Zealster and GHA are no longer listed as moderators.

 

Has this something to do with the recent wild accusations and bannings at the club?

 

If so, then please could some explain why.

The forum is now 'unofficial' so everyone (even me!) can have their say and the forum is not seen as an official voice of St Albans City football club. The moderators will only be known as 'sacfc_moderator' but they will still be appointed by the offical webmaster for now, unless we can find a more democratic way.

 

That's the position as I understand it, I may well be corrected later so don't quote me...

I have it on good authority that, having had a precautionary medical check-up beforehand, GHA opted for the lifetime membership of The Supporters Club at £25 rather than the annual £3 this season.

I just don't see why first of all I, and now GHA, have both been removed at this time, particular as "sacfc_moderator" hasn't even been registered yet.

 

The timing is suspect.

Just to clarify, the carrier pigeon either hasn't arrived here in Kent or it was shot down because the first I knew of this was receiving a text from Zeal this morning. No PM, no e-mail, not much really.

It will all be sorted out given time. Not the best of timing I know but it has been coming for some time. Give it a couple of days to sort itself out.

 

The forum has always been unofficial, yes, but we (webbo and me) want to make it more independant of the official website.

I also recall a farcical situation a few months ago, when the chairman of the Supporters Club was trying to dictate who, and who should not be moderating the forums.

 

It's not even as though we were moderators on the Football Forum. We were moderators on a forum that, 95% of the time, focuses on music, boozing and sh*gging!

I think we were all just wondering whether Gibson or any other official at the club had requested the removal of either mine, or GHA's moderator rights.
