A comment from the Daggers messageboard before tonights game v QPR. And it was suggested he only did something late in tonights game as well

 

18 Mark Bentley - the biggest disappointment for me in the last 2 games. We know what he can do when he wants to. But he appears to be losing his appetite for playing for us. An example is in the second half, when he lost the ball in his own half, stood still and hope Tim Cole would bail him out. Needs to play in central midfield and needs to have some pride for the club.

 

He never lost the enthusiasm playing for us as far as I recall - can only think that he expected to be fighting for a promotion place and is feeling let down with their current position.

Aldershot (Ryman) to Gravesend (newly promoted Conference) to Dagenham (then likely contenders for promotion). I would think the next logical step up for him would be Chester... <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
