Neutral
ben hammond and protain could both play at step 4 no problem. But, why would they leave? They've been promoted, healthy wages at Cockfosters (Hammond left Aylesbury because they could pay more than utd) and it was rumoured on this forum last year protain was on £150 pg Really hope they stay, and really hope Cockfosters can go up-nice club and they thoroughly deserve a spot in the prem. Cock 'o' the North can you spread any light on this one? Hope its not true
Munchkin
I read it that cockfosters can't get any further than prem so budget reduced.
Neutral
Oh, so essentially without major improvement they can't get promoted again so their sugar daddy has slashed the budget/left?

Hope its not true indeed ben Hammond and emond protain can easily play step 4 and higher, heard cockfosters fc cant get further than the prem so they have no budget no money!! THEY WILL STRUGGLE WITHOUT THERE KEY PLAYERS

RendonBodgers
Ahhhh really?? ... Fingers crossed Hobbsy and Sun Postal massive make the sensible step of approaching Fabio Valenti and allowing him the majority of our budget this year. He would help us step up to the plate and smash the league for sure.
cock o the north
Not sure who dreams up all of this dross. Fact - Cockfosters are in the Premier Division for the coming season.

Savagebee
Not sure who dreams up all of this dross. Fact - Cockfosters are in the Premier Division for the coming season. I thought the dross was that cockfosters cant go up so no budget!! which i would say applies to lots of teams in the Premier Division ? Is the reason Cockfosters FC wouldn't be able to go up to a step 4 league because of the ground ? again that would apply to lots of Premier Division clubs but would that mean there top players would want to leave now ? as they will all be playing a step higher than they did last season anyway ? I hope Cockfosters FC do well next season.
Neutral
Are you sure? Heard he left because he didn't want to be a bench player, fed up with not starting matches. not what I heard. I think they have no budget as they have no need for one, so the players will leave. They're not playing for the level, they're playing for the cash
greenduck
not what I heard. Re. Hammond, Probably a bit of both those factors, plus I think he wanted a club closer to home as well.

nick.ince
Despite not believing it last season...Cockfosters did not have the budget that everyone thinks. A 'slash' in budget will make no difference. You can't slash next to nothing. The only problem they face is keeping players who will be offered money by step 4 clubs.
Rebadiah Hongfield
I heard a lot of their money has been going on "miracle drugs" that keep fergal moore independently chewing his own food, walking and occasionally jumping to head a ball.
