I thought it was a superb night last night,. Thanks to Steve E and the MyFC people for

an informative presentation, it certainly bodes well for the future.

 

All thanks to our new managers for talking the time to speak to us all. Exciting times

ahead both on and off the pitch.

 

Thanks for the great welcome we had last night, it was a pleasure to meet a few fans and answer a couple of questions. I will be at the friendly on Saturday, so please come and say hello and im very happy to answer any questions anyone may have ( as long as I know the answer)

Will be online towards the end of the weekend Graham. Probably have all the audio we were able to get that was clear. Unfortunately had some bits which weren't so will probably pull these bits out and will still end up with about an hours worth.

Great night tonight. Well done to the managers for proposing it and a shame the MyFC stuff had to be incorporated.

 

They spoke really well with plenty of answers and information to all the questions put to them and in sure would have kept on going had the chairman not called time!

 

Really looking forward to the season starting now.

Sorry that the chairman and a couple of bandwagon jumpers didn't like my 'poxy £10,000 grand' comment on this forum.Too bad.Can't please people all the time. 

 

Of course I want the tie in with MyFC to work for the good of Slough FC.Hopefully it will all go well but we will just have to see how it pans out. 

 

On to the discussion with Neil,Jon and Mark.

God, there was a lot of grovelling/sucking up going on !! lol!

 

Like Hotspur, I'm not a sycophant ! However,I'm positive both of us want Slough to do well,regardless of what some people assume.

 

Thought the managers came across well but was disappointed that Mark Betts said that after the Academy and reserves and Under 18's etc of last season,that apart from James Hawtree,no youngsters were coming through.That is pretty naff.

Lets hope for better this coming season.

 

Good to see and hear about potential new signings and the remainders of the Slough side from last season. 

 

The new managers clearly talk a good game and I'm looking forward to seeing their team in action.

Tintzy bit concerned that they might not know how to rectify matters if the team starts to lose games,as so far they've been use to success at Godalming.

Let's hope Slough carry on that success but if things don't go to plan,they're going to need more than the 4-4-2/speedy wingers scenario to get Slough out of trouble.

Let's also hope they have a better Plan B than Steve Bateman !

It's a big file so might take a little bit of time to load depending on how quick your connection is, but shouldn't be any reason as to why it doesn't load, slowly at least.

Being a bit of a computer dunce-can I ask " when I click on the link should it say its downloading or at least that some thing is happening-only nothing does ". cheers.

Having the same problem as Hotspur, nothing to indicate anything happening at all, whereas normally something shows as happening.

Chaps, have you tried right clicking the link and then going to "save target as" to save the file. You can then open and listen through windows media player or something similar. Took me two minutes to download that way.

Pleased I managed to hear all that- it would seem the league's ours if we want it-the players sound fantastic-lets hope I am not disappointed when I see them play.
