dflman
The day started off bright and sunny, although it was pretty windy, and the weather was kind to us with the heavy showers only arriving 20 minutes after end of the session. I think that a good time was enjoyed by all for something that only cost £4 each and some good play (& some pretty ropey stuff as well) took place. Here's the final scores in the usual reverse order :- Arthur Scott 94 - He's never played before and despite this score he got one of only 3 holes in one so well done to him Terri Scott 93 - her first go at this sport George Scott 83 - another first timer Sarah daughter of Mark (well done for putting up with me as course partner) 70 Mark Sandwell 68 Sheila Pittman 68 with the only female hole in one on one of the most difficult holes Ted Pittman 63 David Pittman 63 Natalie Pittman 59 Best female score wins a bottle of plonk Christian 59 Steve (Sarah's feller) 55 including a hole in 1. Best male total for a bottle of plonk with some consistant scoring Thanks also to the massed crowd of Mark's missus - unable to compete through injury but still came to watch the heroic struggle. Hopefully we can do this again with a few more participants. Grateful thanks to those who did show up. Here's some photos such as they are............. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10201226416929965.1073741828.1457474450&type=1&l=bd75d50df0
Blue Banshee
I really enjoyed myself as did the boys - think George would prefer ice hockey as that seemed to be the technique he was using thanks for organising!
