Eastside Urchin
Bit odd that there is a Ryman league but it appears to be excluding Essex sides, don't know if this a logistical thing and the Essex sides have agreed to play elsewhere or it simply excludes them,I doubt it is the latter but does anyone know why there maybe isn't a northern section, or is there and it just doesn't involve any clubs that are CCL related which I guess would make sense as to it not being on here!! VPCTFC
That's the entire league constitution. It's like the Suburban League - teams from all around London except the north east / Essex. I don't know how long the U18 League's been like this as we've only been in it for two seasons. Before then I didn't take an interest in it. **edit** I mentioned on another forum that the League were starting an Under 21 section this season. Here's the constitution from http://www.isthmian.co.uk/ryman-league-u21-constitution-announced-14718/ The Ryman League are delighted to confirm the formation of the new Under 21 League. For the first season there will be two divisions split North & South with a maximum of 10 Clubs per division. Fixtures will be played either Midweek or Saturday and can contain three ‘Over Age’ players. Eastside Urchin
A distinct lack of "premier clubs " in there which is sad. We have only just started a youth section this year. I have moaned about it for years as I believe it's key to a clubs future but it does need committed volunteers. We have had under 16s and 18s teams for a few years but they have more been a local club associated with AFC Hornchurch rather than actually part of the club
