PremiershipJoyRider
Even though I lost money backing Slough to win the league last year I'm already thinking about getting the stake money out again. At the beginning of last season I didn't think our league was as strong as the previous season and we ended up not even making the play offs??? I think the league looks a bit stronger this season - but it does n't seem to matter as the odds offered on the Rebels are not usually very generous. Hopefully our new management team can repeat last season when Godalming won there first seven league games on the bounce. Although there are some obvious contenders this season there are always a few surprise teams. Anybody have any views on a good bet for next season. It;s no good saying don't bet as the wife will spend it anyway.
Martin
Not sure there will be much value out there. If I had to predict my top five now I would say Rugby, Royston, Dunstable, Kettering and Slough but not necessarily in that order. I am sure SYCOB and Daventry will be up there contending and you could also through Uxbridge and St Ives Town in the mix.

Graham C
And one of the joys of our level of football is that there is always at least one surprise side that comes out of the pack
