AFC will have a decent squad assembled with a few new players (Danny Hutchins x Yeovil & Hemel is a great signing for example), but we are not looking to get any Dunni players back with the exception of a one player who we hope will be returning.

suprised with the Cockfsters call if I'm honest. As for the other promoted sides it'll be interesting to see- London Lions have the money and can finish mid table, I don't think Hoddy are physically strong enough

Well the promoted sides always seem to hit the ground running as afc did when they went up and i know Head honcho Roachy and his right hand man Fabio wont mess about over the summer and get straight down to business ready for the new year.

 

As entertaining as Oxhey were last year from seeing them lose 8-0 to haringey then the next time i see them up at Pancake Lane beating Levi 7-1 or something just without Putman, losing all other key players and an assistant manager where are all there sources of new players going to come from?

 

Both sides are heading the same way as cockfosters pitch - Up and Down.

 

Yeah can see what you are saying about both clubs i will be very interested to see how both clubs do next season that's for sure.

 

Maybe we can beat Oxhey Jets for the first time in a few seasons if you are right.

Anyone feeling a bit more informed now that most pre-season friendliest have been played. I still think Hanwell Town and Ampthill are favourites, but Colney Heath and AFC Dunstable will be up there as well.

 

Very pleased how things are shaping up at Hertford Town and confident we will be in top 8.

Yeah agree with the four above teams doing well this season would also add Berkhamstead and London Colney into the mix as well.

Div1 will be so tight this year, any from 6 or 7, think the money clubs will be up there just purely because of the level of commitment and continuity that a bit of £ every week brings. Sad but true IMO.

 

Out of the 7 clubs earlier mentioned I believe Crawley to be the only club not to pay any money what so ever.

 

It's such a long season though with the league and a couple of half decent cup runs your talking 50 plus games.

Seen nuffin to change mind since 20th June, but will stick my neck out and say Ampthill for title, Hanwell and Berko. Hertford, Colney and Cockfosters wil be firm challangers

and AFC wil not be relegated :-)
