Irishadrian
It was announced at the Southern League AGM yesterday that 2 clubs had made strong appeals against their league allocations and that a 24/20 split between Central and S&W was a possibility Could be interesting. GarySTFC
Guildford and godalming is suggest as the two teams appealing. Whilst we've benefitted from the godalming switch, it has been harsh on them with this being their third change of division in three years. Sir Rebel1965
If it goes to 24 in the central will they promote 3 from the central and only 1 from S&W?
Mr Rebel
If it goes to 24 in the central will they promote 3 from the central and only 1 from S&W? absolutely ridiculously unfair if the balance of promotion spots doesn't change.
Irishadrian
The FA met on Friday to determine the appeals from Godalming and Guildford but adjourned unable to make a decision They indicated that there should be a decision early in the coming week So we could find ourselves playing them next season
Don Juan DeMarcus
Not to forget a minimum of 46 games a season instead of 42.... Go on a decent cup run/ have serious snow and you'd be playing til June

Irishadrian
One unlikely but possible scenario is this; Both Guildford and Godalming presented the FA with the names of clubs currently in the Central league who would have measurably less mileage to travel to away games if they were in S&W than either Guildford or Godalming One of these is ourselves So Godalming could be a Central club and Slough in S&W. GarySTFC
Slough wouldn't move without SYCOB doing likewise as well so would need both to move if it was us.
Irishadrian
Gary SYCOB were also on that short list of teams with the least mileage to cover.
