With the way that the system works in Football circles.Take this scenario, you have a heated dispute with your Manager, who then subs you off the pitch. He then hits you in the Testicles and punches you in the Face, the Referee then abandons the game.No Red Cards are shown by him to you,but the Referee then submits a report against you to the F.A.stating violent conduct by you.The F.A. then send the charge form to the Manager regarding your alledged actions, which he does not inform you of,as he is not your favourite fan at that time, you only find out from other sources that you have received a 5 match ban and £25 fine. Then of course there is no RIGHT OF APPEAL against a Red Card, but did he show a Red Card? Then because you were not informed of the Charge in the first place, any chance of an Appeal is out of date.Thought we lived in a democracy, where you are innocent until proved Guilty,it seems in this case that is not the case.Previous misdeanours are taken into account with the sentence given ,hence the 5 match ban,but no evidence of the circumstances evident at the time, was allowed to be put before the F.A.or the right of the individual to question the Refs written statement, and bring witnesses in his defence of his case. Can this be right?

NO, According to him.Managers can only be banned from the Bench,so hardly stops him being involved.Think the £25 fine is the giveaway,as to the severity of the Violent Conduct charge as written by the Ref.Thinking of Charging him with assault occassioning actual bodily harm.Awaiting paperwork from London F.A. as to what further action can be taken, they have been very helpful.

This was Gilesy08's account at the time...

Fennesy was bought on as a sub at half time he gave the ball away or something and their manager shouted something at him Fennesy replied something along the lines of [****!!****] off u c *** then he was taken straight off as he walked off the two exchanged words and faces was in each others started to heat up and a kilburn player held terry to pull him away as that was happening their gaffer kneed him in the balls then smacked him straight in the face then a fight broke out as this was going on we was instructed to leave the pitch and we went and got changed

Referee Mr Steve Smith report.

In the 84th minute,South Kilburn made a substitution. The substitute and his Manager exchanged blows.I stopped the game,we restored the game back to normality, and removed the 2 offenders from the area. The opposition caused further disorder and the Match was abandoned.Without restarting.I confirmed with the South Kilburn staff and my team sheets that the player was Terry Fennessy.

Assistant Referee Mr.Nigel Hickes.

In the 84th minute of the match play was in progress, when the team Manager of South Kilburn and a substituted player of South Kilburn exchanged blows whilst standing in the team technical area. The Referee stopped the match, and players of South Kilburn moved to the touchline and restrained both individuals. The South Kilburn player immediately left the viscinity of the pitch and surrounding area. After further misconduct, the match was abandoned without play restarting.

After the match the Referee confirmed from the South Kilburn team sheet that the name of the South Kilburn player who exchanged blows with the South Kilburn Manager  is Terry Fennessy.

Assistant Referee report Mr. Terry Pusey

In the 84th minute of the match.I witness the the manager of South Kilburn and a substituted player square up to each other then come exchange blows while they were in the technical area.At this point the Referee  had stop the game players from South Kilburn moved towards the touchline and restrained both the player and Manager, the player then left the viscinity of the pitch and surrounding area, after further misconduct the match was abondoned without play restarting. When we got back into the changing rooms we check the the team sheet of South Kilburn of the player who exchanged blows with the Manager and confirmed it was Terry Fennessy

So do Officials collaborate in making their Reports, there is obviously a key word in 2 statements that say they do.

Communication dated 11/5/13 from London F.A. to South Kilburn F.C. Secretary.

As Secretary you are responsible for notifying the player of the terms of suspension and details of this letter.By singing this letter, you are signing to confirm that you have notified the player of the correspondence and suspension.Duly signed by the Secretary and returned to London F.A., dated 14/5/13.UNFORTUNATELY no correspondence has yet been received from South Kilburn FC re this case as of today the 16/6/13 by the player.

Terry is always the victim no matter what club he goes to.

How about you spend your forum time in a better way?  Perhaps attempting to correct behaviour

Not attempting to correct anyones behaviour, just informing people about the unfair way Football is administered. The refs report is incomplete he mentions South Kilburns staff that he spoke to,we all know South Kilburn are a one man band, namely Mick Jennings. Was told by London FA that you cannot appeal a Red Card, which you cannot, but no red card was shown by the Ref.Has Mick Jennings received a ban,NO according to him,and even the CCL backed him and his Club by awarding them the points, after Warlingham feared for their safety and refused to carry on playing. So it turns out that you can assault anyone you like at a game of Football, and come away a Winner,it seems to have worked in Mick Jennings favour.

Pedantic point but I thought that club officials (ie managers ) can't get a red card, they are just ordered out of the dug out area.

A red, and for that matter a yellow, card are merely visual confirmations to communicate what action has been taken by the referee. In this case what sounds like violent conduct which is what I assume the player has been charged with. The manager would have been charged differently along the lines of acting in an irresponsible manner, the nature of which can vary from sarcastic clapping of a match official to physical acts of violent behaviour.

Just because a card isn't shown to a player doesn't mean he has not, or will not be reported although players should be informed, usually via a club official that they can expect to be charged.

A pretty brave, or stupid, referee who after witnessing what has been described above marches up to a player and shows him a red card. A watching brief is to be advised and match officials would sit and confirm what has been witnessed, by whom and at what times.

I think you will find that its only the playing staff that can be shown a red card, no coaches etc.
