Who's the bigger club?

Recommended Posts

Which side stands the greatest chance of being around at Step 3 or 4 at the end of the season?

There's your answer.

They are a bit like the Rebels in that they are homeless having lost their ground they will play next seasons home games at Steel Park  the home of Corby Town. As things stand today I don't see them as a bigger club  Theres no point in looking back  Nothing and no-one is going that way!.

Are you sure that they are at Corby?  Thought they had done up Burton Park Wanderers ground and sharing there.

OK, I've looked at their history and concede that Kettering are a bigger club than Slough, not sure it's by a mile but they certainly are a bigger club.

Dave Deeney is an average half decent player who has the odd good game. Playing the lowest level of non league football shows he is not that good. If he was he would be playing higher and a bigger club than Kettering "who are exactly the same as Slough Town these days" would have come in for him. He's at his level, good luck to him.

That's correct.  They have put floodlights in at BPW and it looks a pretty decent ground now.

However, with Ladak in the background, anything could happen.  They look very vulnerable but good luck to them.

If you had of asked me as a 12 year old,I would of said Slough as they were a name I was familiar with back then but getting to know non league a bit more,Kettering are a big non league name.

I remember getting a train to Sheffield and stopping at Kettering as a teenager and thought we had arrived early at Sheffield as was the impressive size of their floodlights and ground, because of that I followed their results for some time and they were always a decent supported, size club
