Rhodes
Whenever we held trials at Haringey Borough at a nearby recreation ground, opposite the New River Sports Centre, we were knocked over in the rush with local youngsters who couldn't hit a cows backside with a banjo, it was a total waste of time and effort particularly for the Club's Coaches
The Mayor Of Simpleton
That's unfortunate Rhodes, but there are literally hundreds of good young players going under the radar which would benefit clubs. Organisations like UKFF do a lot to rectify this, and the players in both their 1st Team and Elite Development Squad would easily do a good job for any Step 4+ side. If Leverstock have a free pre-season date, a game against UKFF at home (or away at Roehampton) could give their management the opportunity to pick up a few good bargains. Uncle T
Our friendlies are all planned now, have been for weeks. Funny that everyone wants to play us on our pitch midweek. WE have turned down at least a dozen friendlies all at our place.
