Eddie Green, now there was a referee! I remember he reffed our first home game back in the Conference under Dave Russell and awarded Southport two penalties in the first 5 minutes and we ended up losing 2-5. If memory serves, he retired from reffing after being attacked at Sunday League level (?) by a player none too pleased with his officially style.

Ha ha to be absolutely honest I have no idea what colour the NEW AWAY shirt will be.

Don't give a shit if the allied armies won the war in it. I retired a season early from my club cos they brought in a green shirt. Ill boy a home one for sure will reserve judgment on away.....
