I think Sonners poor discipline and stroppy attitude  would rule him out of  the new management teams plans even if he did express a desire to return  He doesn't appear on the Hendon player list yet but that may be because he hasn't got round to confirming this yet  Their website says only those players who have definitely committed are showing at present.

Couldn't fault Sean Sonners work rate and commitment and could certainly jump well to flick the ball on.

 

Discipline, finishing and stroppy attitude let him down and was a red card waiting to happen when he used to run 15/20 yards to jump feet first into a tackle.

 

Certainly not what our new managers want.

Different aspect to this topic---------maybe should also be on the new kit story--------but with all the new players coming in , wouldnt it be nice if , like higher levels, their names were on the back of the shirts so that we can get to know them more quickly.

Bakes or Unders, just looked at Ryan Blake's background and it seems he was a very promising youngster at Brentford.

 

Is it a case of injury that has stopped his progress or perhaps just not 100% committed to the cause?

 

BTW I see he is still only 22 and could still make it if he really wanted to?

Yep we had an honest conversation with Broomey over the last week, and whilst we do rate him as a player, he knows he is in a big battle to play, and whilst he would be up for it, we are also fair enough to tell him that we think it would be better for him to go back to Godalming, where he will be a big part of there team.

He is one that we have an excellent relationship with, and you never know what happens in football, but in the meantime we wish him the best of luck for the forthcoming season. (Except when we play them ;-) )
