andyetfc
Has anyone seen the old Hendon FC ground on tv. What a mess and what a shame.
Savagebee
A great old Skool ground always enjoyed my visits there just another council that doesn't care about a football club. A sad sight and i fear for Hendon FC future.

Steph
I went to Bulgaria many years ago and left the holiday site we were staying at to visit the Queen of Romania's palace which is actually in Bulgaria close the border. The conditions at Hendon are similar to the conditions in the town around the Queen's palace. "Everybody got to be somewhere" said Eccles
Enfield United
Rant Time. It's an absolute disgrace that a sporting venue is allowed to become such an undesireable sight as the one at Claremont Road. The next time anyone see's a councillor or MP,MEP they should highlight the downfalls of Barnet council and how they have driven Hendon to their current state, Barnet out the Borough and Edgware to non existance as well as forcing Kentish Town out the Copthall in favour of Saracens. Barnet is the Council of sporting shame. Matters are not much better in Enfield. Yes we have been given a new stadium, or in fact, been asked as to be the favoured tenants of a £3m+ project which the council benefitted from substantially and boasted of the Olympic Legacy, but where's the training facilities for the club? we run umpteen teams from U7s-1st team levels in boys, girls, mens and ladies football, but can not find training sites for all the teams because of the lack of facilities forcing us to disband teams as unmanageable scenario's. As for those who do train we are scattered across the borough here and there at the scraps of any available sportshalls or corners of astroturf we can get. This country is mega years behind many established nations in supporting it's people in sport except for the elite few who get all the elite cuts and trimmings of academies. The FA's football for All is a sham.
