A close pal of mine, Chip (Dale Sears brother), told me that Matt Newman has signed for Berko next year. Seems a perfect fit to me.

My reliable source down at Jets has informed me that next out the door is the talented left-back Andy Lomas, following Captain Ian Bywater to Braintree. The pair have an incredibly strong friendship and even have an odd boot-sharing ritual.

Also, talented dead-ball specialist 'Sheepy' has vowed to return to the club if the rumours of a change in management are true.

Wondering if DJ savage-bee is about to shed some light on a hanwell rumour ... My friend the Met Police Bushey coach claims Oxhey captain Iain Bywaters was playing for them against Met in a friendly? -- in which they lost 2-0 (goals from Ross Shorto,Jamey Derby)

I heard it's all going off at Oxhey now. Manager and assistant sacked after their greatest season ever, which led to a mass walk out. Big shame, thought we were starting to see something good happening there. Very attractive football every time I went to see them last year, was close to buying a blue bomber.

 

They've now gone for untried manager and former striker, terrence ilbury, at the helm.
