Div 1 Team of the Year 12/13

Having seen the discussion on the Prem team of the Year thread, any thoughts on who would be in a Div 1 Team of the Year 12/13?

 

 

I am trying to put together my team, but can't fit everyone in!

So far I have the following:

 

 

GK - Osbourne (Winslow)

LB - Metivier (Hoddesdon)

CB - Cook (Cockfosters)

CB -

RB -

LM - Weekes (Welwyn)

CM - Butt (Cockfosters)

CM - Brotherton (Hoddesdon)

RM -

CF - Bolle (London Lions)

CF - Protain (Cockfosters) or Armstrong (Kings Langley)

Surely Sam Sloma (London Lions) should be in there somewhere. Playing well below his level in Div 1.

When we played Kentish...Fox (up top) was the best player by far. Proper centre forward.

You've never liked Lee for some strange reason have you, his brother Josh stars at Dagenham & Redbridge and Lee makes him look like a Sunday League player so obviously he's going to stand out at a Club, with no disrespect, like Kentish Town

3: CB- Max someone (?) from Sun PS

4: CB: big bald, no nnsesne bloke from Bedford. May be called Dean?

5: RB: no idea

RM: Hammod (didn't see him at cockfosters, but was superb at aylesbury I thought

then I'd pick from the following four upfront: Shrieves (winslow), Selana (Winslow) and Sloma (L Lions) and Protain and (cockfosters)

anyone help me fill the gaps?

No one want Lee Bearman as there Division 1 manager ?

 

Out of all of the SSML Division 1 teams that i saw Southall play last season Bedford were by far the best team they ripped Southall apart.

 

Bedford had some very good, hard working players playing for them that game.

Centre Back has to the non league veteran Fergus Moore for Cockfosters... 40 yrs old and played the hole season. Big part in 'Fosters success.

He was mentioned in original post, young Kieran Weekes, our leading goalscorer and excellent left midfielder, alas no longer at Welwyn Garden City he has been snapped up by Havant & Waterlooville.

Wouldn't go Moore (Cockfosters), but apart from that, I think that team would represent the SSMFL very well.
