wade
Fixture publication delayed - thurrock have taken out injunction to prevent publication on Monday while they appeal to Court of Arbitration. Problem is they are talking months. What happens now?
Frankie100
Only delayed until October if the courts take their usual time. Just means 3 games a week to finish the season on time...............piece of cake really.
Coffin Ender
Northwich last year tried to take some dispute with the Northern League to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. It didn't come to anything.
The Mayor Of Simpleton
Thurrock have been very hard done by - if I have read rightly, the amount outstanding by the player was £16? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23259898 This seems very heavy handed, and the FA have not done themselves any favours over this. So if Carlos Tevez (for example) has a fine outstanding, and he's now playing abroad somewhere, are the FA going to punish Manchester City the same way they punished Thurrock? Time to change the FA for the better!
Coffin Ender
How did Harlow manage to realise the player was banned and the other clubs didn't?
dflman
The FA are the people who arranged for Wigan to kick off at Wembley at 5.15 pm fully knowing that thee was a big chance of the fans not being able to get a train home that night and they are the same ones that gave 17,000 Wembley tickets to be taken by corporate at each game
Eastside Urchin
Thurrock have served an injunction, trying to get the league fixtures delayed until The European court of arbitration hear their case. This could delay things to somewhere near/past October !!!
Coffin Ender
League say there is no injunction and Thurrock can't go to CAS anyway. http://www.isthmian.co.uk/league-statement---thurrock-fc-15249/
