Any more games left to play this year?

Recommended Posts

I went last night and I was a bit disappointed to be honest :404: . No Putman, no burger van and Beardsworth came off. The winning goal was special though, one of the Inch brothers (I assume they're brothers) scored a cracker. Top corner, similar to the one against aylesbury on the cold end's vid, just this time it was off the floor, not a volley.

No puttman? How did they ever make it through 90mins.

Which inch was it the skinny blonde one or that little stumpy one? We had them at sun few years back . tom was a superb talent at the time , the other one was average.

Was Fabio Valenti not playing?! Surely not if they lost . that guy lives in the stanch as standard practice. Wonder if he'll carry on another year and take them up another level.

He was there watching, maybe he was banned. They were definitely missing him.

It was the smaller one, stumpy is a bit harsh! Funny you should say that, I think Lee looks the better player. Are you a coach down at Sun Postal or just a follower?

He was, I was looking forward to seeing him after some glowing reviews but he didn't live up to it. Maybe just a bit too old now, he tried and tried, but couldn't seem to find a way out of that Lomas fella's pocket.

I was sitting for some of it, and standing at the (vacant) burger stand side. In the infamous orange bomber jacket! I didn't see you either, but then again, we've never met?!

How come some of the Hertford massive were there?

Good luck to Kent Athletic tomorrow. Baldock are not the side they were last year (based on the Final last year and Semi this year), but they are still a solid outfit and probably, along with Frenford Senior, the best team I've seen Risborough play this season.

.

Tom had fantastic potential at Sun must have only been 17 at the time? ... Long time back when done abit with the reso's there but just more of a local follower. Havent been much the past 3 or so years . Committee just run it into the ground along with the shocking excuses of management they keep throwing in. Im sure tringarmy keith would back me up and tell you all about it. Be exciting to see Mr Paul Hobbs take over see what he brings to the table. Hes up there for me with the finest non league legends like Lee Bircham, Swazyiland, fergie moore, ian cooper, pithers

And of course the left foot king our Valenti.

Yes, my season at Sun both brothers came in in about January 08 making a big difference to the squad (along with Darren Locke, Lewis Toomey & one or 2 others)

From memory Lee played more often than Tom who I think was also signed with someone like Canvey Island at the time - could be wrong though

Personally I think baldock will beat Kent on what iv seen this season Kent like to kick people up in the air to try breaking the game up and baldock will get sucked in my prediction 2-1 baldock someone will get sent off

Kent seem like a decen footballing side to me- not dirty imo

Not sure if I'd call Lee Bircham a legend, he's living off his brother's name in my opinion. Wonder where he'll be next year, do you reckon he'll go up with the Ducks, or stay in this league?

May start with the Ducks, but I doubt he has the ability to keep the Wood brothers out of the team. If I was a betting man, teams like Levy & Berko will be looking to tempt him. Great character, must be great to have in the changing room, but it will take a lot to get over his leg break and reach the standards required for Southern League football.

Well Reb if i was a betting man ... Id put a tenner on this treble -

1)Serg the hair gets sacked(or leaves by 'muteral consent') at levi green

2)Micky Vipond goes back to levi.

Now this is where it gets good ...

3) Lee Bircham goes to berkhamsted Fc as skipper to rejoin up with a certain former manager of hes at 2 other clubs >> Mr. S.H.

Not a bad theory? ...

from his twitter he seems devoutly devoted to the ducks.

Furthermore, he's recovering from a serious broken leg- he may never play again.

Eassssy up 'not so netural' its just a theory not a rumour. We're not trying to steer him away from you're mighty ducks its ok.

And furthermore lets all wish him the greatest recovery on hes leg and all the best to kicking a ball again. PMA.

I'm Neutral, just do like the Ducks. As much as I like other teams. And to be honest RB, I could forsee that- good call :)
