After the excitement of this weekend, my wife said she wanted to go and see a game live. I said I'd take her to watch a local team if there are any cup finals left to play?

This Wednesday is the final of the South Midlands Floodlit Cup at Oxhey Jets FC between Oxhey Jets and Cockfosters. Kick of is 7:30pm.

 

You also have Baldock Town vs Kent Athletic in the final of the Anagram Records Feeder Trophy on Saturday. Match being played at Herts FA County Ground, Letchworth.

You'll see a better game Kents vs. Baldock imo. Baldock I think are trying to get into ssml div1, and I feel Kents' squad could suffice at div 1. Will be a good game.

 

I imagine oxhey vs. cockfosters will be a oxhey win!

No his ban finished on the last day of the season, he served one match, the remaining two games will be served at the start of next season starting on August 10th

That's ridiculous! Surely if this was still in the middle of the season and this was a cup match (one of the earlier rounds) he would be suspended?

Should have served his ban completely before the end of season, the fact that it only kicked in 3 weeks after his sending off is bad enough.  Then to hold a suspension over to the start of the new season when there are still cup matches to play makes a mockery of the whole disciplinary system at this level.  Why isn't it implemented the same way as it is higher up the pyramid?

County FAs always operate this way. Higher up the pyramid they fall under FA suspensions I believe.

I went last night and I was a bit disappointed to be honest   . No Putman, no burger van and Beardsworth came off. The winning goal was special though, one of the Inch brothers (I assume they're brothers) scored a cracker. Top corner, similar to the one against aylesbury on the cold end's vid, just this time it was off the floor, not a volley.
