Pre-season friendlies

Why are we playing Haringey Boro ? Surely we need to raise the standard of opposition . We should play against the better Level 4 clubs at the very least. Come on Inner Circle we are better than that F C S.!!

From the club.

The game with Aston Villa is likely to be against their development team (i.e reserves) but will be stiff opener for the club against full time professionals.

The game with YB SK Beveren of Belgium is likely to be for the Supporters Direct Cup. We understand the Belgians will be bringing plenty of fans with them for what will be Town's first ever international.

Isn't playing Canvey an international as its across the water?
